YouTube Studio App Reviews

I have over 100 skate park videos, as well as some others and it’s been a cumbersome experience to get information on them. I’ve bounced between this app and a browser but I’m getting closer to losing the browser. This app is extremely helpful. The latest release makes for a better, smoother experience. If I need to edit a few things, I hope that it has improved in that way also.

I use this all the time to stay updated with my channel at school and outside of my house. I probably spend hours on this app every day replying to comments. Very useful as a bigger YouTuber to keep up with comments.

Optimize it for the iPhone X

Small change but made a big difference. Way more intuitive home screen. Good work!

Funny how all of googles apps get updated for iOS 11 and iPhone X and yet the one app that matters most to content creators isnt updated :( thanks google, really shows how much you value your content creators. Guess will get an update when you feel like it...

Thank you for adding the subscribers on the Dashboard, now I don’t have to open my Youtube app just to check my subs. Really convenient. Keep improving y’all!! Maybe next time you can add the list too not just the numbers.

Holy crap

I really love this app it allows me to edit my videos and thumbnails but the only thing I don’t like is it doesn’t allow me to put thumbnails in my livestreams

So with this new update the comment system has changed. It’s very hard for your comment to be noticed because of the new system. The new system is all about top comments now. Which is comments with the most likes. The old system was when you made a comment and it just stayed there and whoever clicked on the video could easily see you comment. Now it’s all about likes. It’s also hard to self promote yourself which I’ve been doing when I’ve recently started YouTube. If there’s other people reading this my YouTube is Chris Nayeb Vlogs. I’m trying to grow my channel. Would love the support.

The app is good. However, on one youtube account, it keeps saying "verify your Google account" in order to change my thumbnail to a custom thumbnail. It is verified and has been for weeks. Fix this.

Good app. Use it to manage my videos on my channel. Not much else to say about it. My one complaint though, is that somehow we are 2 years past the introduction of the iPad Pro 12.9” and their app still isn’t updated to look correct on it. It’s not like there haven’t been updates either. It’s just neglect as far as I can tell.

...how are you supposed to put a video from your phone on YouTube?? This shouldn’t be hard to do.

Can we get iPhone X Support? The black bars on top and bottom are just lame at this point. Other than that, great recent update on sub count.

When I tap on a comment, I loved how in the previous version it automatically had me in the reply field and I could start responding. That’s a huge timesaver for me. In new version, I now have to tap reply before typing, and then after it sends i have to hit another button to go back to the list of comments. May seem like a small thing but when you reply to 500 comments a day, it matters. Please change back. ALSO, when I tap on top left to go to what user I’m controlling, it automatically turns iPad rotation so I have to turn my head. Super annoying. Hope this is fixed soon.

- Can’t sort comments by anything other than “recent” so if you have a top comment that is vitriol, you have to skim and skim forever just to find it. Not a great way to moderate comments - Not optimized for iPhone X. Looks like a tiny iPhone 6 app. - It’s great that we can finally favorite and pin comments, but still difficult to use if you can’t sort comments how they will be sorted for the public. - Still can’t edit midroll ads - Can’t request manual review on a demonetized video. - App doesn’t notify you when your video is demonetized. - No real view over CPM. - When an influencer or youtuber comments and you get notified, you cannot click to go to their channel, it just takes you to the comment. So you have to leave the app, go to the youtube app and see who this user that comment is and why the app thought it was important to notify you.

I love this app but I want to be able to schedule live streams so my viewers will know when Im going to stream Edit: Your welcome Edit2: How do you schedule them?
